Pan American Silver Corp. is a producer of silver and gold in the Americas, operating mines in Canada, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. The Company also owns the Escobal mine in Guatemala, and it holds interests in exploration and development projects. Its products include silver, gold, copper, lead and zinc. Its segments include Silver, Gold and Other. The Silver segment includes operations of La Colorada, Huaron, San Vicente, Cerro Moro and Escobal. The Gold segment includes operations of Dolores, Shahuindo, Timmins, Jacobina, El Penon and Minera Florida. Its operations and development projects also include La Colorada mine and Navidad project. The La Colorada mine produces silver-rich lead and zinc concentrates from a flotation plant treating sulfide ore. The Huaron mine produces silver-rich zinc, lead and copper concentrates through the use of floatation technology. Jacobina is an underground gold mine, producing gold dore through a conventional leaching process.
