Alibaba Group Holding will release its results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 on November 25, 2025. Analysts expect revenue of around USD 34 billion. Compared with the same quarter last year, when revenue was approximately USD 33 billion, this would represent a slight increase of about 4%. Earnings per share (EPS) are expected to come in at around USD 0.89, down from roughly USD 2.08 in the prior-year quarter.
The modest revenue performance highlights the challenging environment Alibaba is facing: while the cloud and AI segments continue to deliver growth, the core e-commerce business in China remains under pressure. At the same time, attention is turning to whether Alibaba can generate enough momentum from new growth areas such as cloud services, AI and international commerce to stabilize earnings going forward. If Alibaba exceeds or misses expectations, significant share price movements are likely - creating an environment that offers active investors attractive trading opportunities, especially through the use of leveraged products.
