On Tuesday, August 4, two particularly closely watched companies, SpaceX and AMD, will be in focus as they release their second-quarter earnings after the market close. For SpaceX, this will be its first earnings report as a publicly traded company since its IPO in June. The market expects Q2 revenue of around USD 6.8 billion, while EPS is expected to be negative. Key areas of focus will include Starlink’s growth, progress in the space business, and the company’s significant investments in AI infrastructure and data centers.
For AMD, analysts expect second-quarter revenue of approximately USD 11.3 billion, up from USD 7.7 billion in the same quarter last year, representing growth of around 47%. Consensus estimates put adjusted EPS at approximately USD 1.62, compared with USD 0.48 per share in Q2 2025. Investors will be closely watching demand for AI accelerators and EPYC processors, the performance of the Data Center business, as well as the outlook for the next generation of MI350 and MI450 chips.
